hi. i’m sarah.

Whenever someone asks where I’m from, I freeze. Do I claim the Midwest where I was born and raised? Do I say where I currently live, or where I’ve most felt at home? As a milspouse, I’ve spent half my life updating my address every couple of years, so at this point, home really feels like no where, or rather it’s now here.

After spending my childhood and young adult years among the fields of Nebraska and Iowa, home has meant the arctic tundra of Anchorage; the land of the rising sun of Misawa, Japan; the bright lights of Las Vegas; the bustling energy of Houston; the southern simplicity of Montgomery; the national capital of Washington D.C.; and the Swabian charm of Stuttgart, Germany.

This blog is about living life passionately from a constantly changing zip code through travel, crafting and reading. My hope is to inspire you to join me in a life of joy and wonder, whether it’s helping you to plan a trip or figure out what to read next.

If something I’ve written speaks to you, please leave a comment and share it with your friends! Admittedly, creating content and putting yourself out there isn’t the easiest thing to do and this helps me know what you want to see more of. <3
